All Wales Manual Handling Passport (People) Train The Trainer
This comprehensive trainer development course is designed for individuals who plan to, or have been appointed to train care providers to the standards laid down within the All Wales Manual Handling Training Passport Information Scheme.
Learners will benefit from various lessons aimed to equip the learner with the tools to teach the skills to correctly handle people.
Attendees will receive a copy of the latest Handling of People (HOP6) reference manuals along with a PowerPoint presentation with trainers notes and a lesson plan to get them started.
Trainers will be offered annual refresher training designed for trainers to help maintain their CPD (Charges apply).

This certificate is valid when there is evidence of continuing professional development in people handling techniques
Demonstration of acquired skills in the form of ongoing practical assessments and completion of a workbook. A micro teach will be required by the learner on the last day of the course.
Learners should be aware that certificate attainment will be subject to participation in various manual handling practical activities.
Applicants will be expected to have completed, and be able to evidence a subject-specific refresher course, such as the All Wales Manual Handling Passport / Passport Refresher course within a 12 month period prior to attending this course.
