Successful candidates will learn the key principles of manual handling and how to apply these to their workplace. They will also practise a wide range of techniques, ensuring that they leave the course confident and proficient in moving and handling.

Completeion of one or more multiple choice question papers to evidence that the learner has understood the underpinning knowledge elements of the course.
The learner should be aware that attainment of a certificate will be subject to participation in various manual handling practical activities.
