Practical Skills Annual Update

This course is strongly suggested by the Health & Safety Executive for candidates who currently hold a valid First Aid Certificate.

It aims at making an impact on the quality of First Aid provided in the workplace, by allowing candidates the opportunity to refresh their practical skills as necessary.

What You Will Learn:

-    Updates on:
-    Basic life saving First Aid skills
-    Health & Safety regulations

Course Content:

-    Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation
-    Recovery Position
-    Bandaging
-    Applicable updates
-    Questions & Answers

Pre Entry Course Requirements:

  • Current valid HSE Approved First Aid Qualification (1-Day or 3-Day).
  • Candidates are advised to revise from previous course material, so that knowledge can be applied to practical work within the allocated time.
  • Maximum of 12 candidates.

Course Duration:

  • Candidates are required to obtain three contact hours, excluding breaks.
  • 09:00-13:00 / 13:00-17:00
  • Times can vary to suit your needs.
 

Certification

  • Practical Skills Annual Update Certificate.
  • HSE Strongly recommends that First Aiders in the workplace attend annual practical skills courses during valid certificated period, but this is not mandatory.
  • Candidates will be continually assessed by their Training Facilitator.
